A personal story

Since March my young boys have left the house precious few times. The other day we had our first successful trip to Target while keeping the mask on! As a mom I struggled with how to explain to my toddler this sudden new rule for going outside. This took practice, some tears from everyone, and lots of words of encouragement.

"It's just like a jacket, but for your face! See? You look so good! Isn't this comfy? You look just like mommy and daddy!"

He eventually began giggling and was just thrilled to be going to the store for the first time in what feels like forever to a three year old.

While this was purely me wishing to share a mom-win, I hope we all can move past covid as quickly as possible. Stay healthy, stay home when possible.
