I hesitate to make a blog post about this but unfortunately it has begun to affect things here at show me your mask.
About 10 days ago I had an accident with my sewing machine where I ran the needle through my finger. (My own fault for moving too fast) Being the stubborn person I am I soldiered on to meet my deadlines, while merely calling the nurses hotline to get advice to take care of it. My anxiety was keeping me from going into the emergency room at all costs.
After a week it was becoming evident that something was very wrong with my finger and today I went in to have a doctor examine it in person. Well. There was an entire third of the sewing needle still in there that is now thankfully removed.
Unfortunately, until I heal I will be much slower in my sewing and I will require a few extra days to mail out any masks. I appreciate your patience as we navigate this additional bump in the road.
Thank you again for your ongoing support.
